- Should I be the Black Swan or White Swan for Halloween?
Yes, I know it's early to plan, but I'm sure items for such a costume are limited and expensive, so I ought to start saving up now. I'm 17, and absolutely in LOVE with ballet and the film Black Swan. Now, the reason I'm asking is because I have a dark complexion (I'm of East Indian origin) and I'm not sure if a Black or White costume would look better on me. Thank you!

A Okay,Get a couple of feathers together. Glue them (or tape them) to a headband (the elastic kind) then get brown Lipstick and put some of the lipstick under your eyes (like football players) and then, Go to walmart and get all the woven bracelets you can find. As for the outfit, Find a HUGE plain brown shirt and use a cute belt to tie around your waist. Fort he shoes,Dont wear any (unless you have gladiator shoes) Draw Hearts and peace signs on your feet.

Tomorrow is pair day at my school. Me and my friend are going to be cowboy and indian. I am going to be the indian. Does anyone have any homemade costume ideas. I dont want to go out and buy something but anything I could wear to make me look more like a native american indian. I am wearing brown kahkai pants and mockasins (sp?) any other ideas would help out a lot. remember not bought but homemade or something i have lying around the house! thanks

A you could fringe the sleeves and about an inch around the hem of a long tee shirt.. just get a string of mardi gras beads if ya has any lyin' around. if your a female use the tee as a dress and pull a shawl over your shoulders..as a man use the tee shirt as a war shirt and tie a scarf around the waistline and wear a homemade breech/loin cloth..

- How to create a good Red Indian costume?
I live in the UK, so please don't suggest ANY American sites or shops since it will be no hope to me whatsoever. I've got my GCSE results party in a month and need to get a good costume together. I would get one online but they're at least £30 and that's so over the top! I might rent one I'm still not sure. BUT, I need help for a home made one just in case! A Forever 21 has cheap tanks and they usually have lots of tribal printed stuff they also have feather headbands bit those dont look indian bit they have amazingly cute indian lpoking feather necklaces and earrimgs

- Cowboy and Indian day costume ideas?
So I know it's politically incorrect but blame student council, not the school. I want to do the native American thing being that i am like a quarter native American, not that it shows on me. I do not own moccasins or those other things that people think that all the people who live in Arizona own (I'm serious, half of us hate the stereotype western thing and actually where only name brand things or if your like me, trip pants and band tee's). I do however own things for hair and earrings but I want more then that. What could I do for the day to earn 15 extra credit points in my 3rd hour? I'm Cherokee, I don't know what tribe though, and only like a quarter. I'm like over half Irish though so i don't do much with that part. When i meant stereotype i meant like all of us have like cowboy hats or boots or like clothes that are weterny (I know its not a real word but you understand what I mean.)

A The one essential I can give you is: Make certain you eat the day of your wedding. Have a bridesmaid or your mom pack a cooler with high protein and healthy snacks for you to eat during the day, because, believe it or not, sometimes you seriously do not have time to stop and eat. Fruit is great, protein bars, cheese sticks, granola bars, etc. Also, drink plenty of water. If you get dehydrated, you'll get a headache. Yes, you may have to go to the bathroom, and depending on your gown, may need help to do so, but don't let that stop you from keeping hydrated. I've dressed enough brides over the years and I've seen MANY pass out, simply because they didn't eat, or complain about their headache, and as soon as I'd hand over a bottle of water, about 30 minutes later she'd be fine.
