Indians Costume

- CULTURE DAY - EGYPT!?
ok so in a few months we have culture day , i know its a while away but i dont know if ill have to save up and buy a costume or not but my background is my mother is black and my father is egyptian . im wondering what i should do , because egypt is such a historical and ancient country i dont know if i should dress like an ancient egyptian or just wear maybe a headress , dress and big makeup. are schools pretty spirited so most people get into it although not very diverse so the most i saw someone do was dress in a sari and lots of bangles. A that outfit is amazingly cute!! wear it just modify it a bit like part you hair to the side kind of like in my picture (profile) and do the eye make up!! make sure you send me a picture of yourself!!! lol

- My sister has to dress like a native american for a "cowboys an indians" party tonight.?
I've been helping her find a costume but it's hard to find stuff last minute! she wants to plait (braid) her hair, but it's only a few inches past her shoulders and doesn't look right. What should she do? We have a headress. We have a top to wear, but stuck on what to wear on the bottoms. And shoes are a problem. don't have any moccasins or anything. what about white tennis shoes? any more ideas? thanks yeah i mean the stereotype. or at least how they used to look when the cowboys were about. hence the "cowboys and indians" party! please stop trying to catch me out and just help me

A is she also going to the "jewish / nazi" party? tell your sister she and her friends are totally insulting and mocking people. its not bad enough we have been murdered and marginalized but you want to dress in stereotypical crap to mock us too? can't even leave us our dignity? and before you think i am over reacting, THINK! we have children who are subjected to this crap every year at halloween...its damaging. but yeah...go have your fun at someone else's expense.
